Luddenham golf course hosts big challenge

01 Jul, 2009 05:00 AM
THE next round of the Callaway Challenge will be played on Friday, July 31, at Twin Creeks Golf and Country Club at Luddenham.

The Callaway Challenge offers non-members the opportunity to play on the privately owned course, which is open to any golfer with an official AGU/WGA Handicap.

Twin Creeks held the latest round of this year's Challenge last Friday.

Club acting general manager Brett Johnson said the Callaway Challenge was becoming more popular every year.

``There are great prizes on offer in the challenge and these players will also qualify for the finals to be held in November,'' Johnson said.

Tee times for the next round on Friday, July 31, start at 7am.

The cost is $145 a golfer, which includes golf, carts, range balls and competition fee.
